We took the original analog drive circuit—renowned for its wide gain range—and supercharged it with an active three-band EQ and an innovative dual-boost architecture. Whether you are chasing a modern metal chug or a tight, expressive lead tone, the Essentials™ is your new command center.
Precision Tone Shaping
The Devil's Triad - Essentials™ is designed to adapt to any rig. It functions equally well as a standalone pedalboard preamp or as a surgical Overdrive/Boost in your standard signal chain.

Active 3-Band EQ: Unlike standard tone knobs, this highly tunable EQ section is tuned to specific frequencies ideal for guitar. It allows you to dial in the perfect match for your specific amplifier or digital modeler.

Analog Drive: The core analog op-amp drive section provides depth and tightness to any amplifier while emphasizing your pick attack.
Cutting Edge Boost Architecture
We finished the design with a completely new integrated Boost section that offers unprecedented control over your gain staging.

Pre & Post Control: You now have the ability to boost the output signal (Post) AND boost the gain of the drive itself (Pre).

Cut & Boost Capability: Uniquely, both boost controls offer a small area of "cut" at minimum settings. This allows you to preset a volume drop or a gain reduction, giving you the ability to shape the drive tones of your favorite amp with total precision.
